Art Factory Basilicata is a dynamic organization, glocal and local at the same time. We feed the enthusiasm of the communities to provide solutions to their needs through the fascinating language of public art.
We work every day to realize a dream, to create a large sociocultural company that could employ many young talents both from Italy and the world to develop the L.A.P. Laboratorio permanente di Arte Pubblica, which combines art and social engagement, working with the Community for the Communities, with the aim of transforming Italy into the largest permanent laboratory of public art in Europe. From 2009 to the present, it is permanently in the urban spaces of the city of Potenza involving 70 million users a day and it has created 6 projects of Public Art and 100 events in 7 years across the Basilicata region, between Urban screen, Urban LAb, Conferences, Higher education. We collaborated with international artists and critics as Spencer Tunick and Anna Detheridge and involved artists from all over the world with projects and Higher Education. Our staff is made up of creative minds open to networking. We have created a regional network with voluntary associations in Basilicata with particular attention to gender issues and the fight to stop violence against women and we are charter member of the project Cresco in Basilicata. We are creative, smart and we have expanded more and more our know-how in organizing events and developing projects of best advertising for institutions and individuals.
